On our second day in Monteverde we went to the Selvatura park to walk their 8 hanging bridges.
Our last stop before heading back to Sweden (via San José) is Monteverde. We went to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve today and saw the Resplendent Quetzal!
We took a 30 minute shuttle bus from Tamarindo to spend the day at a nearby beach called Playa Conchal, famous for having sand made up of crushed (and not so crushed) shells.
We are back in Costa Rica for a couple of weeks to relax on the beaches before we head back home to Sweden from San Jose on May 12th.
We spent a couple of days in Playa Maderas and took a surf lesson! It was really hard and fun and exhausting! There was also some time for relaxing on some of the nice beaches in the area.
As Erik still had the flu, me and Linnea took off alone from Granada for a short visit to Ometepe island.
We went to the city of Granada, a cute colonial city next to Lago Nicaragua. My cousin came all the way from Sweden to meet us here, to spend two weeks with us. We were busy all the time!
