City life

We went to the city of Granada, a cute colonial city next to Lago Nicaragua. My cousin came all the way from Sweden to meet us here, to spend two weeks with us. We were busy all the time!

We stayed för a day and a half in León, the home of the sandinista revolution in Nicaragua. We strolled around town, had some great food and went to the museum of the revolution and an art museum.<

We have had some time now to just soak up the atmosphere of Antigua.

We are in the amazing city of Antigua Guatemala. Active volcanoes, cobbled streets and cute cafés are all around us.

Update: We got an apartment, plus new photos.

We stayed three nights in the beautiful island city of Flores in northeastern Guatemala.

Both Carro and I had the dream to go to Cuba, and being in Cancún we realised we were only one and a half hour away. We decided to go two days before the flight, and we will never regret it.

Home of the Zapatistas (EZLN), the most magic of  Méxicos Magic Villages, with a church on every corner and two cafes on every block, the cold(ish) mountain village of San Cristóbal de las Casas is a beatiful two-week retreat for us from the crowded holiday-celebrating beaches on the Oaxaca coast.
