Another day in Monteverde, another Quetzal: hanging bridges in Selvatura park

On our second day in Monteverde we went to the Selvatura park to walk their 8 hanging bridges. Selvatura park is a private investment and is like a recreation park with Ziplines, museums in a big forest right next to the Santa Elena National park. The walk on the hanging bridges is a 1-2 hours walk on bridges ranging from 16 to 60 meters. It is a very special feeling seeing the layers of jungle from above, since a lot of plants an wildlife tend to live in the treetops. We were also lucky to see another Resplendent quetzal, we got a closer look this time. Luckily he was not bothered by us photographing him, but rather posing proudly just a few meters away.
