Playa Ocotal in Guanacaste is a small and quite beautiful beach where you can relax in the sun, or go snorkeling. A small tour operator and one (quite pricey) restaurant with nice beach chairs are the only establishments near the water. The hills above are dotted with luxurious privately owned villas and condos.
